The GEL-TRABUCO™ 9 G-TX has been redesigned from the ground up to assert itself as an all-round trail pioneer. Rugged and comfortable – these are the two words that best describe this trail running shoe. It is designed for off-road runners who are looking for excellent durability, protection and grip.
On top, the more adaptive last improves the fit in the forefoot. Additionally, the updated version of our trail shoe features a GORE-TEX™ upper that keeps feet dry in wet conditions. Improved comfort comes from the FLYTEFOAM™ midsole material coupled with GEL™ cushioning technology in the heel.
This model is equipped with a DUOMAX™ support system that provides a more stable running experience. The placement of the foam on the inner side of the midsole provides a stronger degree of firmness that prevents the foot from turning inward too much (overpronation). The lug pattern of the outsole is made of ASICSGRIP rubber, while the tread pattern for uphill and downhill running on the lateral and inner side of the shoe improves traction on slippery terrain. In addition, a Rock Protection Plate ensures that the outsole remains flexible and protects the foot from rugged terrain or trail gravel.
