NEW – The Life Fitness IC6 ICG Bike is compatible with the Peloton app!

The Peloton app is compatible. The functionality is somewhat limited in one point (no heart rate measurement), otherwise very similar to the original Peloton Bike. The resistance must be adjusted manually with both a Life Fitness IC6 ICG bike and the original Peloton bike.

To use the Life Fitness IC6 ICG Indoor Cycle with the app, simply download it (available for Apple & Android; additional costs apply when using paid content) and use a tablet and the ICG Indoor Cycle including tablet holder to use the Peloton -Use the app.

Design and workmanship of the Life Fitness ICG IC6 Indoor Cycle in detail.

Visually, the Life Fitness IC6 can only be described as successful. Everything here seems to be made from a single piece and is of very high quality. The elegant V-frame and the substructure not only appear extremely robust, they are so. The maximum user weight is 150 kg. The ICG IC6 Indoor Cycle is approved for light commercial use – ideal for sports clubs, company fitness centers and hotels. The emergency braking system (according to EN-957-10), the full cover of the drive unit and the covered flywheel ensure a high level of safety during training. Wide feet and the integrated height adjustment ensure that the indoor cycle stands firmly and securely.

The sitting position on the Life Fitness ICG IC6 can be easily adjusted to suit different people.

Thanks to the 4-way adjustment system, the sitting position can be adjusted to suit different body sizes and the preferred posture. The saddle can be finely adjusted vertically and horizontally. Likewise the handlebars of the IC6. It can also be adjusted in height and horizontally. Not only is it possible to adjust the sitting position to your body size. A more comfortable seating position can also be adjusted or a set-up can be adjusted for optimal performance. The saddle is ergonomically shaped and offers a certain level of comfort despite its sporty orientation. Thanks to the standard saddle mount, it can easily be exchanged for a preferred model. The handlebars offer many different grip positions. The rubber-like coating offers good grip and a pleasant feel. Two shelves for drinking bottles are integrated into the handlebar design.

The Life Fitnessxa0 IC6 Indoor Cycle offers very good concentricity thanks to the high gear ratio and high-quality drive.

The drive system uses Poly-V V-belts to transfer the force exerted by the driver on the SPD combination pedals to the flywheel. The belt drive also impresses with its low-noise and low-maintenance operation. The high gear ratio of 1:10 ensures excellent concentricity. The result is a realistic riding experience on the Life Fitness IC6 Indoor Cycle. This is supported by the low Q factor of 155 mm.

The pedaling resistance can be changed using a rotary knob in the range of 1 – 100. This wide range of resistances allows people with a wide range of performance levels to train on the Life Fitness IC6 Powered by ICG. The set level is displayed on the TFT color display of the WattRate training computer.

Training on the Life Fitness ICG IC6 Indoor Cycle is always under control with the WattRate TFT 2.0 training computer.

The trainee can track all important training parameters on the large TFT color display. But the WattRate TFT 2.0 training computer can do even more:

• Watt training mode – the performance in watts provided by the trainee serves as the basis here. The individual training zones are determined based on your personal ones and shown in color.
• Heart rate training mode – individual training zones are determined based on the heart rate and user data. By color-marking the zones, the trainee can immediately see which pulse range they are in. The WattRate training computer is compatible with ANT+, BLE and analog chest straps.
• Power Test – the FTP test (Functional Threshold Power) is a step test. The individual performance threshold is determined. The training computer calculates the individual training zones based on the so-called FTP value and the personal data of the trainee. NEW : the FTP value can now be changed during training.
• Coach By Color – the individual load is displayed in color based on watts or heart rate.
• Mechanical keys with backlight

The Life Fitness ICG IC6’s redesigned TFT 2.0 training console features a reinforced computer case with improved moisture sealing. The new system hardware offers improved stability, range, speed and data accuracy. Future software updates can easily be installed via the micro USB port.

Data exchange between the WattRate TFT 2.0 training computer and other devices (e.g. smartphone) is possible. You can choose from predefined workouts using the ICG Training app. You can also create your own training units. Training achievements can be shared via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Many other options encourage you to stick with it. The training console is powered by the generator integrated into the Life Fitness IC6 – never change the battery again.
