The Altai von Roeckl was, as the name suggests, created for snowy operations. Like its namesake, a mountain range in Russia and Mongolia, it also stands for the very rough.
So specifically for use in snow and ice. As a ski glove, anything else would be really unfavorable.
Real powerhouse
The Altai is made entirely of synthetic material, so it dries extremely quickly, is therefore also very easy to care for (machine washable at 30 degrees) and can also take a lot. Ski edges, tips of ski sticks and what can not happen to such a great glove on a skiing holiday or on the toboggan hill. The warm glove has a soft, but above all warm fleece lining.
Incidentally, the palm of the glove was reinforced with non-slip PU fabric. In this way, the ski pole or the handle on the sled are safe in your hand. The ROECK-TEX membrane is also used to protect children’s hands as best as possible from moisture and other unpleasant influences. It is absolutely wind- and waterproof and thus ensures warm and dry hands. Even in deep snow!
