The “Flipwhip” is the top model and the new premium stunt scooter from the traditional Schildkröt company. The best equipment and the best material for top performance in all extreme and hard tricks and stunts. Due to the deck made of a hardened 6061 aluminum alloy in a premium triple box construction, the scooter is very torsion-resistant and robust. The trendy graphic griptape ensures a very stable and secure stand for all tricks. The side of the deck is slightly beveled on the underside – it has so-called grind edges (to slide on = grind). The reinforced Y-handlebar is 54 cm wide and 85 cm high and is made of chromoly steel. (= Chrome-molybdenum steel, an expensive and resilient steel alloy). The fork is made of steel for maximum stability; the fork also has optically very elegant millings. The steering tube and fork are connected with a quadruple clamp with four Allen screws – the matching Allen keys are included. The high-quality and comfortable TPR handles always ensure a secure hold and good shock absorption. A HIC compression headset (Hidden Internal Compression) is installed. This ensures a solid, play-free connection between the handlebars and the deck. Another eye-catcher is the round CNC cutout on the head tube, but also the connection between the handlebars and the deck. Of course, the handlebars can be rotated 360 degrees for all tricks and stunts. The handlebar height is 85 cm (measured from the ground) and, as always with stunt scooters, is not height adjustable. The Schildkröt Flipwhip has a robust brake made of abrasion-resistant steel on the rear wheel for quick and safe braking of the scooter. The Flipwhip is factory-fitted with slightly larger 110mm wheels made of Hi-Rebound PU (nice grip, degree of hardness 88A). The equipment includes anodized aluminum rims, the color of which is perfectly matched to the overall design of the scooter and can also handle rough bumps and jumps. Smooth-running ABEC9 ball bearings make the Flipwhip perfect. The Schildkröt Flipwhip comes pre-assembled in a box. The handlebars have to be screwed on with the enclosed Allen key, but this is not really a challenge.
